Who She Is
Dr. LaTiecea Hailey-Brown, MBA, M.Ed., Ed.D. is a purpose-driven community leader, executive, and educator whose career of more than 20 years has been devoted to advancing equity through education, nonprofit leadership, and community development.
As Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Community Engagement at Tampa Family Health Centers, she bridges healthcare, education, and social services for underserved communities. As founding CEO of LaTiecea Brown LLC and former Chief Operating Officer of the University Area Community Development Corporation, she has led transformational initiatives spanning housing stability, workforce development, wellness programming, and educational access.
Her foundation was forged across nearly two decades with Hillsborough County Public Schools — rising from classroom teacher to principal of a UCF-certified community school, where she learned firsthand how schools serve as anchors of community transformation. A graduate of the Ed.D. program in Educational Leadership and Administration at the University of South Florida, her leadership integrates research, legislative advocacy, and lived experience to drive lasting change.
Why Work With LaTiecea
Two decades across classrooms, school leadership, nonprofits, and healthcare means LaTiecea has seen what works and what doesn't. She doesn't work from theory alone. She works from experience.
LaTiecea takes time to understand your situation before suggesting any solutions. What works in one school doesn't necessarily work in another. She knows that.
The goal isn't to make you dependent on outside help. It's to leave your team better equipped than when she arrived, so the work keeps going after she's gone.
Equity shows up in everything, not as a checkbox, but as the lens through which every recommendation and conversation is shaped. It's not optional; it's the whole point.
